Here Robert made a "mistake": the distance from Mesa Verde to Bryce Canyon is large. The day was rather exhausting from the heat and the driving through all the sites. We should have stayed the night in Page.
But we drove on. However, it became rather late rather fast (?!?), so we stopped for dinner in Kanab. Enchiladas and a beer. Very homely restaurant with reasonable food. The spicy sauces were welcome.
