We had booked the "Ambassador" Motel by phone. I had been suspicious because the room rate was only 25 USD. However, as I had no other info and had talked to a pleasant person on the phone, I had kept the reservation.
The Ambassador turned out to be a night stop for truckers and tradesmen. Nothing whatsoever wrong with it, but not exactly what we would have wanted. A bit run down and somewhat strange; a step down from everything that came before.
