We walked the famous rue Kéréon, visited the cathedral and saw the maison Hériot. There is also a cute river. But follow the path we took.

A number of shops sold tourist versions of sextants. One however displayed a genuine instrument of the 1930's, certified by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).   We went back later in the second week to enquire: it was priced at 7500FRF (1140 Euro).
