Peterhof

The main palace is on a hill overlooking the estuary. The slope is made into an enormous cascade of fountains, we arrive a little before they are switched on. The main palace was almost completely destroyed during the second world war. Restoration was lenghty and undoubtedly very difficult. So everything we see is actually "new".
